PORTRAIT WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
Fresh off of the heels of my L:A, Boston and El Paso workshops, I'm adding more workshop dates to the schedule.. I had so much fun with these groups of students and these amazing spaces, that I can't wait to do it again. This is Lui, and I'm pretty sure he ended up with the coolest shot from our El Paso workshop. As part of the workshop, I photograph all participants. As photographers I think it's important to be photographed. What's that thing they say about the cobbler's children? Seriously though, everyone is going to photograph you differently, and I think it's easier to pick up on some of the nuances of direction when you're being directed. I think it's also important, as photographers to remember how vulnerable it can feel to be on the other side of the camera so that you can empathize with your subjects.

The workshops begin at 12:00pm and wrap up around 9pm. We'll keep the party going into the night with a celebratory dinner to recap the days accomplishments. The workshop is a solid mix of presentation, demonstration, me photographing students, students photographing each other, and my editing process. We'll do 1 light setups, 2 light setups, and a group shoot. I'll cover everything from taste and style to lighting and post production. The group will be limited to 10 students so that you get the one on one attention you deserve. So if you're available, I'd love to spend the day sharing my particular skillset with you.
